2-day Natural and Locked Hair Maintenance and Styling Training

Introduction to Natural and Locked Hair Care Techniques (March 4, 2012)

This class will teach students what they need to know to work with hair that is either completely free of
chemicals or to help those whose hair is not free from chemicals transition back to their natural curl
pattern. Students will be introduced to the history of natural hair care, in addition to terminology,
techniques, basic styling methods, tool/product use, and maintenance for natural and locked hair care.

Innovative Styling for Natural and Locked Hair (March 18, 2012)

This course provides students with many hands on opportunities to explore advanced styling techniques, while helping them to use creative elements to visualize and apply innovative techniques to natural and locked hair. During this course, the instructor will demonstrate easy, do-it-yourself techniques an  advanced styles for natural hair and locked hair.
